Then this course is for you! Our method applies to everyone who wishes to better their English-speaking abilities, whether you are an actor, teacher, doctor, lawyer, or an international student!
GRAMMAR & VOCABULARY
This segment builds on basic grammar structures and increases student vocabulary. Students expand their understanding and comprehension in the fundamentals of pronunciation.
SPEECH & ACCENT REDUCTION TECHNIQUE
This section is specifically designed to help the student feel confident when speaking English in a social setting. It will improve speech patterns by identifying specific problems with vowels and consonants in everyday speech. General techniques for accent reduction are introduced. Students practice from a variety of texts, including poetry, newspaper clippings, film scripts, plays, and novels.
ORAL & INFORMATIONAL EXCHANGE
INCLUDING PERFORMANCE PIECES
Students are invited to take part in social interactions, express opinions, and participate in discussions. The “Headway” series is utilized to bring together everything learned throughout the week and culminates in mini performance presentations. This is also an opportunity to discuss cultural aspects of the English language and how it can present challenges in everyday life.
